Tj Scott is very known for his silhouette photography as well as his tub photography. Tj Scott first came known after the directed a show in 1997. Much of his work is inspired by his Directory work. The silhouette in this photo has a perspective toward the mountain and the sun. The silhouette is light and captures an nice outline to the female. Most of Tj Scott's work involves females. His work is captivating because it draws you into the actual photo and not just the models. I feel like this is a great photo to demonstrate the art.
Ansel Adams usage of contrast is amazing. He uses a lot of perspective; the river vanishes to the same point as the side landscape. That is also a form of line because it is the mark between the starting point to the end point. The contrast is interesting because he focuses on a dark front and a lighter gray on the back of the mountains. It got my attention in particular, not just because of the contrast but also the texture of the sky fitting in perfectly if the mountains. The mountains texture looks rough but blends in with the smooth looking clouds. There is organic shape throughout the picture due to the mountains, trees and the clouds.
